Bespoke?
We're often asked what "Bespoke" means. In a word: Rare. In haute couture, 'bespoke' is the term used to describe beautiful, hand-crafted fashion designs that are one-of-a-kind. These are things you won't find in mass quantities on store racks all over the world.

What this term means in the context of Tracosé: artfully crafted personal jewelry designs of singular beauty. You won't find two identical pieces on every Macy's jewelry counter. Not because they won't have us, it's because no two pieces are the same, and we're not trying to make fistfuls of paste jewelry to place in as many stores as possible...
...We don't just go to a bead store and scoop up buckets of beads, or order boxes of them from some wholesaler online. We travel all over in search of gemstones and minerals that meet a specific standard of quality and energy. And to do that, we have to see and touch them. Feel them with our senses. That's the way every stone of every necklace, bracelet and earring starts before we even buy it. It's about quality and energy. It's about thinking how it would feel to have a piece that complements and amplifies the natural power of your beauty.
Mary sees combinations of colors and metaphysical properties, and lets her intuition guide her craft. She even dreams this. That's astounding. She'll get lost lost for hours creating an amazingly powerful and incredibly artful piece of jewelry with no thought whatsoever about how to most efficiently produce the largest number of items that have been found to appeal to the widest audience. Her passion, craft knowledge, wisdom, and intuition are poured into the selection, placement, and complementary combination of each stone and metal. It's amazing to behold, and even more amazing to actually hold.
So that's the 'bespoke' in Tracosé Bespoke Jewelry. It's much more than custom-designed. It's singularly crafted. A distinction, to be sure, but a significant one. See our designs exclusively at Avalon online and at their store in Northern California.
